🧬 Training Workshop for Fundamental Research Capacity
🔬 About the Workshop
This blended-learning program is designed to equip scientists with essential skills and knowledge in genetic and biomedical research using animal models. Organized by the Foresight Institute of Research and Translation (FIRAT) Rwanda, in collaboration with OIC-COMSTECH, DrosAfrica, and the University of Rwanda, this comprehensive training bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
The goal is to strengthen fundamental research in the region, which is critical for addressing health challenges and supporting the community's strides in pharmaceutical and vaccine production.

This workshop is open to:
- Scientists, early career/senior researchers, and postgraduate students in Rwanda and other countries
- Participants with a minimum MSc degree in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, and other related fields
- Researchers specifically interested in enhancing their capacity in animal model development
- Scientists working to foster innovation and scientific breakthroughs in their regions
