The Inception
Activities started in June 2018 with a focused team of three, building the foundation and defining communities of focus for regional research.
National Milestone
Remarkable progress with the 1st National Undergraduate Research Conference (NUSReC) in Nigeria, promoting translation among education stakeholders.
Crisis Response
During and after COVID-19, established the Research Cloud for Scientists and the Students Research Group to maintain research momentum.
Digital Translation
Expansion into digital assets with the translation of CashTelex, a project focusing on financial inclusion for all Africans.
Internationalization
Phase 2 began with the establishment of the Rwanda country office, aligning with the national Agenda 2050 for transformation.
Continental Integration
FIRAT continues to scale as a premier private research organization with a multidisciplinary framework across Africa.
