Education / Children Living with Disability

Overview

This program at FIRAT Rwanda is committed to ensuring inclusive, equitable, and quality education for children living with disabilities. We believe every child deserves the right to learn, grow, and thrive in a supportive environment—regardless of physical, sensory, cognitive, or developmental challenges. This initiative recognizes disability not as a limitation, but as a diversity of human experience that must be accommodated through compassion, innovation, and policy reform.

FIRAT Rwanda works with schools, families, healthcare providers, policymakers, and the wider community to bridge the education gap for children with disabilities and promote lifelong learning opportunities that are accessible, adaptive, and empowering.
